This post is a prequel to the actual series. In this part I go through a few of the most important concepts in Vault to provide an overview to simplify the understanding in the coming parts. We will see how to install Vault, start a development server, enable secrets engines and auth methods, and then use the auth method to get a token that allows us to write secrets.
