I am happy to announce that I will be publishing my first ever book!
My upcoming book, Terraform Authoring and Operations Professional Study Guide is your companion for the new Terraform Professional certification. This certification is still brand new, launch as recently as the beginning of this month.
This book includes one chapter for each of the exam objectives. My goal has been to cover tips and tricks that will be useful to know for the exam. This book is not targeted for individuals that are new to Terraform. Apart from covering exam content I have included suggestions on best practices for your Terraform journey.
As with the first edition of the exam, this book is focused on the AWS provider for Terraform. This means you will also benefit more if you already have some experience using AWS. The exam is not an AWS exam, so you are not expected to be a certified AWS professional – and you don’t have to be! However, it can definitely be a stressful thing to try to learn about basic AWS things during the exam.
The book is currently in a beta phase where multiple volunteers are reading and contributing feedback to make it a better book.
The release date is not set in stone, but expect the book to be available within one or two weeks (famous last words!)
